CorporalE-4 | CPL
The E-4 Corporal (CPL) is the fourth rank that members of the Taskforce can reach, and is the first specialized rank that can be obtained within the Taskforce. The CPL rank is a stepping stone on a members path towards NCO leadership, although the rank is obtainable through meeting the minimum requirements, it is completely lateral, meaning a CPL can be non-punitively demoted back to the rank of Specialist, at no cost to career progression. This is because the rank of CPL will typically only be achieved if there are circumstantial reasons, such as a team that consists all of Specialists. The SPC and the CPL can hold the same positions. The rank of CPL can also be achieved for members who have demonstrated great leadership potential at the rank of SPC after already having the ranger tab, but not yet completing the Basic Leader Course.
Requirements:
- ≡ At least E-4 (SPC)
- ≡ Passed Ranger School
- ≡ Available Billet
-
SpecialistE-4 | SPC
The E-4 Specialist (SPC) is the fourth rank that members of the Taskforce will reach. The SPC can expect to be a highly trained and combat ready soldier, able to fill key positions of leadership within a squad, such as a team leader, while still expected to both follow the orders of the leadership appointed over them, and instilling those same principles and military bearing into the lower enlisted soldiers that fall under them. The SPC is expected to assist in administrative duties such as recruitment and training, although not a requirement, it is recommended.
Requirements:
- ≡ Three (3) Months TIG as PFC
- ≡ Assist Training & Education
- ≡ Continue Training & Education
- ≡ Demonstrated Leadership Potentionl
-
Private First ClassE-3 | PFC
The E-3 Private First Class (PFC) is the third rank that members of the Taskforce will reach. The PFC can be expected to cover down and/or assume more critical roles within their sections, such as an Automatic Rifleman within a fireteam, or a Aviation Operations Specialist within a flight detachment. Members holding this rank are highly encouraged to seek out higher levels of leadership education as they begin to prepare themselves for eventual leadership, while still following the orders of the leadership appointed over them.
Requirements:
- ≡ Three (3) Months TIG as PV2
- ≡ Continue Training and Education
-
Private Second ClassE-2 | PV2
The E-2 Private Second Class (PV2) is the second enlisted rank that members of the Taskforce will reach, this typically occurs simultaneously alongside completing the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program, or the 160th SOAR's Green Platoon Selection Course respectively. The duties and responsibilities of the PV2 are to continue to follow the orders of the leadership appointed over you, and to continue to further your knowledge and experience within the Taskforce. At this point you will be actively participating in training, operations, and the grooming of oneself to become future leaders. Although the rank of PV2 is quite low when in comparison to other available ranks and their associated positions, the impact you have at this point is crucial. Each member of the Taskforce that leads soldiers and is chosen to delegate policy and procedures will say that their path started here.

- ≡ Completed The Nightstalker's Green Platoon Selection Course
-

While holding the rank of Candidate you will not be entitled to promotions, awards, qualifications, etc. This rank is also assigned to members under the age of 18 and serves as a probationary position while the member is being evaluated for acceptance.
